Description
Nazar is a three-storey building with a three-window shopfront, constructed of brick and painted facing High Street, topped with a slate roof and featuring rectangular brick chimneys. The second floor has nine-pane hornless sash windows, while the first floor displays three twelve-pane hornless sash windows. The ground floor has a later 19th-century shopfront, which includes a central doorway with part-glazed double doors and a rectangular overlight, flanked by shop windows that are supported by classically inspired pilasters. Above the shopfront is a cornice with a sunblind.
To the right of the shopfront, there is a twelve-pane hornless sash window. The return to the left on Bridge Street features a dummy window on each floor of the right bay. Offset to the left, there are two second-floor windows with twelve-pane hornless sashes and two first-floor windows with sixteen-pane hornless sashes. On the ground floor to the left, there is a sixteen-pane hornless sash window, and to the right, a doorway with a late 18th-century or early 19th-century doorcase, which includes a round arch, a rectangular overlight, panelled returns, and a six-panelled door.
