Description
10 and 11 Lower Canal Road are early 19th century, single-storey cottages that feature one window each and are designed as a mirrored pair. They are constructed from English garden wall bond brick, with a plastered gable end facing the street. The cottages have slate roofs with plain eaves and a central brick chimney stack. Each cottage has two-light casement windows with cambered heads and plain reveals, and they are flanked by doors that resemble planked designs.
At the rear, there are contemporary former stables, which include a cross window and a plank door, also with cambered heads. The stables have undergone repair work using stock brick.
