Description

The stables at Llwynau-bach Lodge Hotel are constructed from sandstone rubble and feature a hipped roof covered with artificial slate. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays. The ground floor includes battened doors and 2-light windows that were replaced in the 20th century, following a pattern similar to the original design. There are segmental stone arches, and large ashlar voissoir-dressed pitching eyes are located centrally on the yard side and at the eastern end, with two additional pitching doors positioned at a high level on the southeast side. The stables form the southeast side of a rectangular courtyard.
