Description
Penygenhill is a building that has one storey with attics in some parts and two storeys in others. It features stone walls and concrete tiled roofs. The doors and windows date from the 19th and 20th centuries.
Inside, there are three pairs of plain crucks that are only partially visible. A large stone fireplace is located against the gable end and has a deep-chamfered timber lintel with right-angled end-stops. This fireplace is flanked by a pair of longitudinal boxed ceiling beams and has an original staircase built into its right side. The timber-framed partition, which consists of squarish panels, remains exposed at the first-floor level.
