Description
30, 31, and 32 Crescent Street in Penygloddfa, Newtown, are three-storey houses with cellars and one window each. Number 30 is plastered, while Numbers 31 and 32 are covered with slate from the eaves to the mid-sash level on the ground floor, featuring regular courses of slates. They have gently pitched old slate roofs, deep boarded eaves, and plain bargeboards. There are brick stacks, with a new cap on Number 30. The second-floor windows below the eaves have shallow upper sashes with 12 panes, while the first and ground floor windows have 16-pane sashes. The windows have plain reveals and stone sills, with cellar openings below. The doorways are offset to the right and have plain doorcases with gabled hoods supported by brackets. The original doors have upper panels that have been replaced with glass. At the rear elevation, there are three-light casements under the eaves with cambered header arches below.
