Description
32 Crescent Street is a three-storey building with a cellar, part of a row that includes Nos 30 and 31. No 30 has a plastered exterior, while Nos 31 and 32 are finished with slate hung from the eaves to mid-sash level on the ground floor, featuring regular courses of slates. The roof is gently pitched and covered with old slate. The building has deep boarded eaves and plain bargeboards, with brick stacks, and No 30 has a new cap on its stack.
The second-floor windows have shallow upper sashes with 12 panes, positioned just below the eaves. The first and ground floor windows feature 16-pane sashes, all with plain reveals and stone sills. There are cellar openings below the windows, and the doorways are offset to the right, each with plain doorcases topped by gabled hoods supported on brackets. The original doors remain, although the upper panels have been replaced with glass. At the rear elevation, there are three-light casements under the eaves, with cambered header arches below.
