34 Heol Maengwyn

34 Heol Maengwyn is a three-storey building constructed from coursed and dressed local stone, topped with a slate roof. It features boxed eaves and red and blue brick chimney stacks. The front has six windows, with an attic window in the gable above the center of the former terrace. The building has 12-pane sash windows throughout, each with stone voussoirs. There are modern shop fronts at Nos 32 and 34, with a splayed bay at the former. No 36 has a six-panel door with a traceried overlight and a forecourt that includes contemporary spearhead railings, along with a foundry plate from J B Davies and Co. The left gable is made of rubble, and the rear has some slate hanging and small pane sashes. There is a cross range to No 32 and a corrugated iron jetty at the second floor of No 36, which also features a monopitch outshut. Inside No 36, there are arched openings leading to the hall, six-panel doors, and shaped tread ends on the dog-leg staircase.
