Description

Pont Creignant is likely from the late 18th century or early 19th century and is constructed from locally sourced rockfaced stone. The bridge features a semi-circular arch that rises from elevated vertical abutments, with a prominent keystone that extends to a string course at the base of the flush parapet. The parapet is designed with a wide splay on plan. Additionally, two iron plated tie bars have been inserted through the spandrels for structural support.
