Description
The gatepiers to the inner court in front of Old Gwernyfed, along with the garden walls on each side, are made of square piers constructed from channel-rusticated limestone ashlar. They feature stepped necking mouldings, an arcaded frieze, and a moulded cornice. At the top, there is a stepped pyramidal cap that supports a fluted square pedestal topped with a ball finial.
