Description

Pont Rhiwargor is a vernacular bridge built from local slate masonry. It features a single low-rise segmental arch with a span of approximately 10 meters. The arch is constructed from rough stonework, with each voussoir measuring about 400 millimeters in height. Above the arch, there is roughly axe-dressed masonry, which includes the parapets, and a square string course runs along the base of the parapets.

The carriageway measures about 4 meters in width between the parapets and has a slightly humped profile. The parapets widen at all four corners, with three of them ending in small piers.
