Description

New Bridge is a low bridge featuring three segmental spans, constructed from rock-faced masonry with voussoirs approximately 500 mm high. The keystones are not distinct from the rest of the structure, and each span measures about 5 meters.

The carriageway is around 6 meters wide between the handrails, which are made of steel or iron rails supported by cast-iron standards set on stone plinths. These handrails end with rusticated ashlar piers and copings. The cast-iron standards have a square section, adorned with ball-finials, chamfers, and enlarged feet.
