Description
Wgi Fawr is a double-fronted, two-unit house that stands two storeys high. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a recently renewed slate roof. The front of the house has a doorway located to the right of centre, with the main living area to the left. The doorway has a segmental arch and a ledged and battened door that includes two glazed lights. The nine-pane windows, likely replaced, maintain the original design and have slate sills. The lower storey windows are set under segmental arches, while those in the upper storey are positioned beneath the wall plate. On the east side, there is a single two-light casement window in the gable. At the rear, a doorway is located to the right, also under a segmental arch, and is accessed by three stone steps, with a window to the left under a segmental arch. In the upper storey at the rear, there are two-light casements on both the left and right sides, with an additional inserted window in the centre. The house features two stone end stacks. The two-unit plan was not accessible during the inspection in May 1996.
