Description
Tegfan and Ynyth are a pair of single-fronted, two-storey houses built from random rubble with slate roofs. Tegfan features an external stone stack and a gabled projection at the rear. The front of Tegfan has three-light casements on both storeys, with the upper casements positioned below the wall plate and the lower ones beneath a segmental head. There is a doorway to the right, which has an inserted brick segmental head and a ledged and battened door.
Ynyth also has an external stack, partially replaced with brick, and a random rubble lean-to on its gable end. The front of Ynyth includes a three-light casement in the upper storey and a small-pane fixed light in the lower storey. To the left, there is a ledged and battened door beneath a stone segmental head. The lean-to has a ledged and battened door under a brick segmental head at the front, along with a small two-light top-hung casement in a brick surround beside it. Additionally, there is a six-pane fixed light in the lateral wall below the wall plate.
The houses were not accessible during the inspection in April-May 1996 and are said to be single-unit homes with a staircase leading to an undivided upper chamber.
