Description

Llanfechain Bridge is a two-arch bridge. The main span is approximately 10 meters long and is arched in stone, while the smaller northern span measures about 4 meters and is arched in red brick. The bridge is constructed from uncoursed local shaley masonry. It features an orthostat parapet that rests on a string course and has strong turnouts at all four corners. The carriageway is about 6 meters wide.
