Description

This is a slate milestone that measures about 600 millimeters wide and 50 millimeters thick. It has a rounded top and features a decorative machined edging. The milestone is set into a stone wall, and its top is protected and secured by an iron strip, with the ends of the strip built into the masonry. The inscription on the milestone reads: 'Wrexham District / 1903 / D.C.C. / Wrexham 31 M / Waterfall 3 M 1 F 2 CH / Llanrhaiadr Y M 1 M / Llanfyllin 7 M'.
