Description

3-storey and attic 3-window roughcast front with freestone quoins. Slate roof, wide boxed eaves with gable to centre (left of three on the original Chandos House front), plain bargeboards pendant and finial. 4-pane sashes with deep plain reveals and heavy lintels. Shopfront with 4 lights, half-glazed door under projecting moulded cornice. 4-panelled door with fanlight to right (in position of original pedimented doorpiece).

Roughcast 3-storey and basement side elevation to west street (1932 reconstruction) slate roof, hipped towards front, mansard to rear. Boxed eaves to former, coved to latter. 2 sash windows to front part (only 1 to 2nd floor) 3 dormers to rear part. 3 sash windows and casement bay window below. Shop front (Butcher's) to ground floor.

Roughcast rear. Brick stack, sashes, lean-to.

Some fine C18 panelling with raised fields survives internally, especially to antique shop.
