Description
Tu-hwnt-i'r-gain is a 17th century, one-storey and attic timber-framed building featuring whitewashed brick and plaster nogging. It has two and three-light casement windows. The front elevation includes three ground floor windows, a wooden door with a glazed panel and cover strips, and two gabled dormers. When it was re-inspected in 2003, the building was in the process of restoration.
The house retains its large central chimney, with one unit to the east of the chimney and two units to the west. The western unit is divided into two rooms by a longitudinal timber-framed partition. Internally, a timber-framed fireplace hood and a dais partition are still present.
