Description

No. 2, Victoria Terrace is part of a terrace of seven three-storey cottages built in local handmade pale red brick, featuring individually restored slate roofs. The terrace consists of six cottages arranged as three pairs, each pair having a brick mid-chimney. The seventh cottage, likely built around the same time, is located to the right and has a slightly different front alignment with its own smaller mid-chimney. The left gable wall is covered in slate, while the right gable wall of the additional cottage is made of brick. The window and door openings have flat arches made of common brick and feature stone sills.

The rear of the building is constructed from uncoursed stonework and has undergone significant changes, including modern single-storey rear extensions and altered window placements.

There is a small forecourt that is five steps above the street level, enclosed by a stone wall and iron railings. The original door and windows have been replaced with uPVC but maintain the proportions of the original joinery.
