Description

The cast-iron milepost at Queen's Oak is a rounded-top, angled-front structure. It indicates distances with 'Shrewsbury 19 M' at the head, 'Llanfyllin 6 M' on the left, and 'Oswestry 8 M' on the right, each accompanied by an arrow. The foundry mark 'Turner Bros, Newtown' is faintly impressed on the post. It is painted white, with the raised lettering in black.
