Description

School Farmhouse is a 17th-century building with one-and-a-half storeys. It features post and panel timber-framing, with later brick infill on the front panels. The west gable is made of rubble and is slate hung, while the east gable has a later thinner section of timber-framing. There are brick and rubble outshuts with slate roofs. Two tall rubble lateral stacks rise through the roofs of the outshuts. On the front elevation, there is a gabled eaves dormer to the left of centre, and the windows consist of a random arrangement of poor quality 20th-century casements.
