Description

Aubra's is a three-storey building with a four-window front, featuring a cement render finish. It has a plinth, a cill band at the first floor, and cills with quoins at the right-hand corner on the second floor. The roof is slate, adorned with paired modillion brackets at the eaves, and includes a modern flat roof dormer on the left and a stock brick chimney stack on the right. The windows are small pane sash types, primarily with 9 and 12 panes; the third bay contains paired windows. The first-floor windows are topped with a broad and bracketed pediment, which is also repeated above the modern shop window below. There are similar bracket cornices over the entrances, with a modern glazed door to No 31 featuring a rusticated border, and a six-panel door leading to No 32. The former shop front at No 31 has a Victorian style, with a panelled stair riser and paired sash windows. At the extreme right end, a round arch gated opening leads to a tunnel passage. To the left, there is a brick wall with a six-panel door, a 16-pane sash window, and another boarded door. A rubble wall is located to the right. A boarded door at the end provides access to the rear yard, with a modern opening to the right leading into the yard of the adjoining property. The rear of No 32 is slate hung with small pane sashes, while No 31 is overlapped at the rear by the Trewythen Arms Hotel.
