Description
The Canal Bridge at Llanllwchaiarn is a single carriageway brick bridge dating from the 19th century. It features a single arch that is set at an angle to the line of the former canal. The bridge is constructed with brick voussoirs and has an English garden wall bond facing that is cement washed. The corners are chamfered on the towpath side. There are iron railings along the carriageway, with urn finials on the principal rods supported by scrolled brackets. A freestone plinth is present, and there is a similar iron gate providing access to the towpath at the Rock House end.
