Description
This is a timber-framed field barn located at Gors Farm, built on a rubble-stone plinth. The eastern side features weatherboarding that has been partly replaced with corrugated iron, while the northern and western walls are made of corrugated iron. The southern wall has been rebuilt in rubble stone but includes a corrugated-iron loft. The roof is half-hipped and covered with slate.
On the eastern side, there are central double boarded doors with a lintel inscribed 'MTO IWS ITC 1774'. To the left of these doors is a boarded door, and to the left of center is an opening for the loft. At the rear, a corrugated-iron lean-to is attached to the wagon bay. On the northern side, where the ground slopes steeply, there are two doorways leading to cattle housing beneath the two end bays of the barn.
The barn features a five-bay roof supported by a tie beam and raking struts.
