Description

Berriew Lock features a lock chamber made of carefully shaped and well-arranged stone, along with blue engineering brick. It has timber gates, and an overflow that runs under a brick arched culvert on the west side of the lock. There is also a small brick hut with a slate roof and a brick chimney located on the north side of the lock chamber.
