Description

Stansty Cottage is a single-storey building constructed from coursed and squared stone, topped with a slate roof. Originally built as a single range, it was later extended with the addition of a wing. The front of the cottage faces Stansty Road and features a canted design, with a central door flanked by casement windows that have iron traceried glazing, all adorned with drop-ended hood-moulds. The windows on the inner return have been renewed or inserted, while the facade facing Lodge Road is mostly blind, except for a side wall stack.
