Description

The gates to the east garden are made of wrought iron and consist of two pairs featuring decorative scrollwork. The scrolls rise above a horizontal bar and are hung on three wrought iron cage piers that are taller than the gates, each topped with additional light scrolls. On either side of the gates, there are low screen rails with arrow-headed dog rails, which are bracketed to the main piers with further scrolls.
