Description

The building is a tunnel made of sandstone and earth, located to the east of the kitchen garden at Wynnstay Hall. It runs from the terrace to the south of the hall, around the south and west sides of the garden, and extends northwards to enclose the former kitchen garden and its outbuildings. At the point where the drive enters from the west, the tunnel forms a massive bank, allowing the drive to continue through it. The interior of the tunnel features a brick barrel vaulted construction, faced with rough sandstone blocks.
