Description
The ha-ha walls to the east of the kitchen garden at Wynnstay Hall are made of sandstone and earth. They run from the terrace south of Wynnstay Hall around the south and west sides of the garden, extending northwards to enclose the former kitchen garden and outbuildings. At the point where the drive enters from the west, the ha-ha forms a massive bank, creating a tunnel through which the drive continues. The interior of this tunnel features brick barrel vaulted construction and is faced with rough sandstone blocks.
