Description
1 Pentre Ucha is a two-storey, two-window house built of snecked rubble with larger quoins and a slate roof featuring coped gables. The house has an end stack on the left and an external stack on the right, which is partly obscured by the adjoining No 2 Gwespyr. The building consists of two distinct phases, marked by a vertical joint. The original cottage is on the right side, featuring a doorway with a segmental head, while the later cottage is on the left, which has a blocked doorway under a dressed stone lintel. The lower storey has two-light casements that have been renewed in original segmental-headed openings, positioned to the right of the doorways. The upper storey features horizontal-sliding sash windows located below the eaves. At the rear, there is a flat-roofed projection.
