Description
Wynt Lodge is a one and a half storey building dating from 1923, featuring a steeply-pitched hipped roof covered in dwarf slates. It has a central stone chimney stack with a moulded cap. The exterior is made of fine, dressed sandstone laid uncoursed, and the entrance front is symmetrical. The central entrance has a plain projecting architrave and a simply moulded label above a recessed six-panelled door. On the ground floor, there are flanking 20-pane flush sash windows with a plain, broad string-course above. Large dormers on the entrance and side elevations contain 16-pane sash windows. Above the entrance, there is a stone plaque inscribed with "H.N.G and M.E.G 1923."
To the right, there is a single-storey projection with a hipped roof similar to the main roof. This projection has a plain recessed entrance accessed by three steps and features another six-panelled door, along with a small six-pane flush casement window to the left.
The rear facade, which faces the street, is asymmetrical. To the right and off-centre, there is a half-round projecting stair turret topped with a conical roof, which features a large gothic-style window with intersecting tracery. The interior of the building is plain.
