Description

This is a small barn with an attached stable and pigsties located at Garneddwen Fawr. The barn is constructed of rubble stone and features a renewed slate roof with two small inserted skylights. The front of the barn faces the house and has a centrally placed winnowing doorway, which includes a boarded door set under a wooden lintel. On either side of the doorway, there are three narrow ventilation strips, most of which have been infilled with brick. To the left end of the barn, there is a shuttered loft opening. On the right end, there is a boarded stable-type door under a wooden lintel, along with a fixed window in a loft opening situated below the eaves.

At the right gable end, there is a small gabled stable covered with a corrugated asbestos-cement roof, which has a raised verge. This stable features a full-height boarded door and a small vent located below the eaves to its left. Behind the barn, at right angles, are two pigsties that have slate roofs and rubble-walled pens in front. The building has not been inspected.
