Description
The garden wall located to the west of Colomendy and south and west of Cysgod y Castell is constructed of squared random stone and stands approximately 2 meters high, featuring semi-circular coping. On Castle Street, the wall connects to the southwest corner of Colomendy, where there is a pointed-arched doorway made of stone voussoirs that contains a boarded door. Further to the right, the wall steps down several times as the ground slopes. The southwest corner is built with larger blocks of stone. On the south side, facing Dog Lane, there is another pointed-arched doorway of stone voussoirs, which contains a late 20th-century boarded door that serves as the entrance to Cysgod y Castell. At the right end, the wall turns at a right angle to create an additional garden boundary wall, which extends eastward and fronts Dog Lane.
