Description
This building is a barn range located to the west of the Faenol-bach farmyard. It dates from an unspecified period and is constructed from local axe-dressed uncoursed limestone masonry, topped with a slate roof. The barn features prominent raised and coped gables at both ends, which may suggest that it originally had a thatched roof. Although the stonework has been significantly altered, it still retains several slit vents. On the farmyard side, there are large loft-hatches on both the right and left, a smaller loft opening to the left of center, and two large doors beneath a concrete lintel. It is reported to consist of five bays, originally designed with three storage bays and two threshing floors.
