Description
The farm ranges located to the west of Faenol-bach Farmyard are two lofted structures built in tandem, constructed from axe-dressed uncoursed local limestone with roofs made of small slates and tile ridges.
The northern range, which may be the older of the two, faces the farmyard and forms one of its sides. It features four loft hatches, four heck-doors, and four windows, one of which was originally a door opening. On the rear side, facing the lane, this range has a single central blocked opening and a row of vents. There is an external stone staircase at the northern end, although the loft door has been walled up.
The southern range borders the domestic grounds and faces east towards the access lane to the house. This range is approximately one meter taller and has coped gables on its roof. On the eastern side, it includes two loft hatches and a central opening that has been walled up between two large doors. At the rear, there are two loft hatches.
