Description
Ty Cerrig is a building with a south-facing entrance front that features an asymmetrical design. The central entrance is located at the angle of a two-bay range on the right, while an advanced gabled wing is positioned to the left. The porch has a keyed arch and a parapet, with a blocking course that aligns with a string course running across the elevation at sill level. The ground floor has 12-pane hornless sash windows, and the upper floor features 9-pane windows. The advanced wing has console brackets supporting the overhanging eaves and includes a two-bay return with similar window styles, along with a string course acting as a sill bank at the first floor.
The right-hand return of the two-bay range is constructed from more roughly-finished stonework, featuring similar windows on the left and narrower lights on the right, along with overhanging eaves supported by console brackets. A later north wing adjoins this range on the right, also made of roughly finished stone but maintaining similar roof details, including a strong overhang and console brackets on the gables. It has a tall ashlar axial stack and a two-window range to the north, with 16-pane sashes on the ground floor and a 12-pane sash on the upper right, located just below the eaves. The left-hand window has been altered to extend into the eaves line.
