Description

Plas Coch is a large house composed of three main sections, featuring lined-out render and slate roofs with gable end and axial stacks. The upper range, which seems to be the oldest part, is three storeys high and has an asymmetrical three-window layout with a door on the left. The entrance boasts an ornate six-panelled door with an overlight, set within a projecting timber porch that has cylindrical shafts and decorative bracing. The ground floor windows are two-pane leaded sashes, while the upper windows are eight-over-twelve-pane sashes, all with cambered heads. The attic windows do not align with those below. There is a lower parallel range at the rear.

To the left of this, there is another section that may be a later addition, although the centrally placed stack suggests it could have earlier origins. This part is two storeys high with a two-window layout and a central entrance featuring a six-panelled door and a high six-pane overlight. Flanking the doorway are four-pane sashes, along with an additional window to the right; the upper windows are located in gabled dormers.

Further to the left is a slightly advanced gabled range that has a doorway on the left side facing the street and wide sixteen-pane sash windows on each floor. The gable features stone copings. The long return elevation has small-pane sash windows and what appear to be the remnants of two lateral chimneys.

The two upper sections are enclosed by a small forecourt with decorative cast-iron railings that seem to be contemporary with the other external details. The property has not been inspected.
