Description

Aberduna Engine House is a roofless, three-storey engine house built from rubble. It features large squared quoins at its slightly battered corners and some brick dressings. The pitched gables do not have cappings. The northwest gable has large openings on three levels, all with timber lintels. There are smaller openings with timber lintels and sills located high up on the side walls. The southeast gable has large ground-level openings that are partially blocked, and there is a small camber-headed blocked doorway on the southwest wall. The interior is not fully accessible and contains decaying timber joists and beam seatings.
