Description

The bridge at Cascade Wood is an early to mid 19th-century stone structure of the causeway type. It features two broadly spaced arches that span the diverged channels of the River Alyn. The bridge is built of rubble with dressed stone voussoirs and keystones supporting the semicircular arches. It has a single-carriageway deck, which is now used as a footbridge, and there are no parapets.
