Description
Geinas Farmhouse is a two-storey, four-window building, likely dating from the 18th century, facing south towards the front garden and road. The farmhouse is probably built of brick, which has been coated with stucco, and has slate roofs. There are two brick chimneys at each end of the building and two in the middle. The second building unit from the left projects slightly and is gabled, serving as the main entrance. The other three front windows are also gabled. The gables at the front have decorative bargeboards, while the gables at the ends have plain bargeboards. Two-storey rear wings extend from the main building, with end chimneys and plain roof edges.
Upper windows on the front elevation and in the front gables are 12-pane sash windows, featuring hornless sashes in exposed frames. Ground-floor windows in the left and third units are tripartite, meaning they are divided into three parts by mullions. Similar sash windows are centrally located on the ground floor of each other section. The ground-floor window in the right unit has been rebuilt within a lean-to extension. The main entrance is a four-panel door with a leaded overlight, set within a simple surround featuring consoles and a cornice.
