Description

A set of six bee-boles is located in a wall made of handmade brickwork at Aberwheeler House. The south-facing position of the bee-boles is advantageous for encouraging early bee activity. These bee-boles are wider than those at Garthgynan, likely designed to accommodate two bee skeps each. Each bee-bole measures approximately 0.9 meters in width, featuring a depressed arch that begins around 0.3 meters high. The interiors of the bee-boles are painted white.
