Description
Tyn Radwy is a small, two-storey house dating from the 18th century. It consists of two main units, with a shed attached to the left and a cowhouse and two lower outbuildings arranged in a row to the right. The main house is built of local, roughly-cut rubble stone, with a slate roof, a tile ridge, and a brick chimney at the left end. A modern brick porch shelters the central entrance door. The front windows are small-paned, horizontally sliding sash windows; the lower windows are set beneath segmental arches, and the upper windows are positioned under the eaves. Stone sills are present. A datestone in a lozenge shape is positioned above the porch. There are two small windows at the rear of the house.
The cowhouse and lower outbuildings are constructed from rubble stone, with a similar slate roof, although the cowhouse has been reroofed at the rear with steel sheeting. Two doors are present at the front, each with a stone lintel. A modern lean-to shed has been added to the front of the building.
