Description
The remains are of the former church of St David. Constructed primarily of roughly-dressed local limestone, with dressings of red/brown sandstone ashlar, the church occupies a site measuring approximately 54.9 metres by 22.9 metres. The north aisle wall and west gable stand to near full height, while the south wall and east end have been partially reduced. Evidence of Tudor-arched arcades survives, originally supported by Tuscan columns set on rectangular plinths. Only the eastern responds of these arcades remain. A north doorway with a depressed arch and keystone is found in the westernmost bay, and is now heavily weathered, displaying numerous visible putlog holes.
