Description
The Goods Shed is a 19th-century structure that runs north to south, parallel to the railway line. It is built from rock-faced ashlar limestone using a snecked technique, with a small additional section at the north. The roof is covered with slate, featuring a roll apex on the additional section, and there are remains of a skylight. A chimney is located over the main gable at the north.
The main doorways for railway access are located in the gable walls. There is also an additional pair of double doors to the west, flanked by wing walls that continue the roofline. The northern door is a sliding type, while the western doors are double. The southern doorway features a mid-height lintel with boarding above, and a screen and wicket below. Round-headed louvred ventilators are positioned at the apexes of both gables.
The northern extension includes 2-light windows on the north and east sides, along with a doorway and a single-light window on the west.
