Description

Pont Henryd is a single-span road bridge built in 1848-1849. It was designed by Thomas Lloyd, who was County surveyor for Caernarvon. The bridge is constructed of rubble with dressed stone voussoirs and projecting keystones forming a segmental arch. It has plain arch-rings and a string-course. The parapets are simple rubble and splay outwards slightly towards the approaches, where they terminate in plain pilasters.
