Description
The outbuildings adjoining Celynog date from the 19th century and are located to the south of the main house. They are constructed from roughly coursed and squared local shale, topped with slate roofs, and are two storeys high. The stable and coach house form one building, with a cow-house attached. The stable block has a symmetrical layout, featuring a wide central entrance that leads to a staircase for the loft. To the left of the entrance is a stable door, while the right side has a former coach house doorway that has been altered to include a garage. The stable retains a plank door with a strap hinge, and both this door and the central staircase door feature tooled stone lintels. Above, there are small shuttered loft openings. The adjoining cow house has two doorways, both with plank doors and strap hinges, as well as a small loft entrance above.
