Description
Rosemary Cottage is a house built of snecked rock-faced grey stone with red-sandstone tooled dressings, topped with a slate roof that features projecting eaves and a roughcast stack on the right side. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. The openings are offset to the left. The entrance, located on the left side, includes a panel door with an overlight above it. The windows are 12-pane horned sashes.
The gable ends of the cottage are pebble-dashed. The left gable end has a small attic window and is continuous with a rear outshut, which contains 4-pane and 8-pane sash windows on the first floor, along with a small-pane window below. At the rear, there is a 12-pane sash window located in the main range on the left side of the outshut. The property has not been inspected.
