Description

6 Rosemary Lane is a terrace of six single-fronted, two-storey houses. The houses date from the 18th century and are part of a larger group comprising numbers 1 to 6. They are characterised by a pebble-dashed front elevation set upon a whitened, smooth-rendered plinth, with quoins and pedimented architraves around the windows. A band runs along the first-floor sills and eaves. The roofs are slate-covered. Each house features a chimney stack on the left-hand side, which has been roughcast and incorporates triple square brick shafts. The otherwise uniform terrace is broken by an elliptical passage arch located to the left of centre (at number 4), providing access to Rose Court Place. Entrances are positioned on the right-hand side of each house. The houses feature a fielded-panel door with glazed upper sections, and 16-pane horned sash windows. The building has not been inspected.
