Description

3 Rosemary Lane is one of a terrace of six single-fronted, two-storey houses. These houses appear to date to the 18th century and are part of a larger group (1-6 Rosemary Lane). The front of each house is pebble-dashed, set upon a whitened, smooth-rendered plinth. Quoins are visible, and the windows are framed by pedimented architraves. A band runs along the first-floor level and the eaves. The roofs are slate-covered. Each house has a chimney stack on the left side, finished in roughcast rendering and featuring triple square brick shafts. The straight line of the terrace is broken by an elliptical passage arch located to the left of centre (at number 4), providing access to Rose Court Place. The entrances to each house are located on the right side. The houses have half-glazed panel doors with overlights and 16-pane hornless sash windows. The building has not been inspected.
