Description
Cwm Howard Farmhouse is a two-storey, three-window house with a slate roof and stone stacks at each end, the larger stack being on the left side with brick capping. The walls are finished with roughcast render. The front elevation faces southeast and features three bays, including a central doorway. The first-floor windows are set across the eaves and have gables. The original sash windows with glazing bars and horns have been replaced with modern glazing. There is a gabled porch at the center with a slate roof and a doorway that has a rounded head. The right portion of the house is likely from the 18th century, with its front walls set back. This section is one storey with an attic, consisting of two bays and a central door bay, also with a slate roof and pebbledashed walls, and modern glazing. To the left of the main block, there is a lean-to extension. The forecourt of the main part of the house is enclosed by a stone wall.
Inside, the ground floor has a ceiling divided into three bays, and there is a fireplace with stairs beside it at the southwestern end.
