Description
This is a single-span road bridge built in 1822, located 60 meters east of Melin-y-Coed Bridge. The bridge is constructed from rubble and features a segmental arch with rough-dressed, projecting voussoirs and keystones. The parapets are made of rubble and topped with slate-slab coping, and there is a plain stringcourse below them. The bridge has projecting square end piers at the approaches, with the upstream side piers curving outwards and showing slight battering. On the road-facing side of the northern parapet, there is a deeply carved date of 1822 along with the initials T.I. The carriageway is flat, and an attached revetment wall connects to Melin-y-Coed Bridge.
